HUMAN

A conscious decision

To be human with a capacity for abstract thought, emotional depth, complex communication, and moral reasoning means being at the heart of our own universe.

Soul
A conscious decision to look within

Finding the right human words to describe or define the word “Soul” can leave us entangled in various concepts and ideas, and it is not something that we learn intellectually but something that we experience inside ourselves. It has been named and shaped in many ways and forms throughout history. In essence, there is the pure Soul, the Spirit of God embodied in each human, animal, or plant, which is ever-existing, ever-conscious, formless, and spacious, an energetic bliss, also called Energy or Consciousness.

Mentions to “spiritual growth” or “soul evolution” use this definition, because the soul that is aware of its true nature as consciousness itself is already perfect.

"(2:24) The soul is never touched; it is immutable, all-pervading, calm, unshakable; its existence is eternal." From The Bhagavad Gita, “Song of God,” Chapter 2, Verses 18 – 29

Mind
A conscious decision to observe

The human mind is a fusion between ego identification and one’s true nature. An amalgam of random concepts and ideas, repetitive karmic thought patterns, and emotions, all of which are consciously followed with limited beliefs “programmed” since birth.

Scientifically, the mind is a formless set of cognitive faculties including imagination, perception, thinking, judgment, language, and memory. The ego is the mind’s identity, a false construction of self.

In other words, one’s mind can’t be controlled, it can’t be manipulated, it can however be Observed. Cultivating awareness, one can “stand outside” one’s mind as if watching it. The “watching part” sometimes called “the Observing Self”, is somehow detached from emotions and sense perception and can “see” one’s thoughts and actions with some impartial objectivity.

Body
A conscious decision to listen

The body listens and reacts to one’s mind thus thoughts, emotions, reactions, and in particular beliefs.  In general, and sadly, we grow up with the idea that our bodies and minds are separate systems and believe they function independently. Each part of us is connected and plays a vital role—when the mind is stressed, the body feels it too.

Intuitive eating isn’t about diets or meal plans; it’s about reconnecting with your body and trusting its signals. It means choosing and preparing food with awareness, honoring your inner wisdom, and breaking free from addiction and chronic dieting. Healthy eating means being conscious of one’s habits and eating a variety of foods that provide the nutrients one needs to maintain health, feel good and provide energy.
