Self-love is a deliberate action that you make with the sole purpose to provide attention and love for yourself first, no matter what.
Self-love is not just bubble baths and chocolate cake; self-love means asserting boundaries and an overall deeper connection with yourself, expressing yourself, caring for the body with attention and prioritizing wellbeing, discovering your values and living a life in alignment with them, learning how to build resilience by forgiving yourself through hardships and trusting that everything will work out for the best, maintaining healthy relationships, learning to let go, liberating yourself from comparisons, having faith, no longer tolerating what doesn't serve you and so much more.
A good example of self-love is the ability to say “No” with confidence. Learning how to be courageous enough to voice out honestly exactly what’s right for you, can help you build self-confidence while avoiding things like saying “yes” when you really mean “no”, or allowing someone to disrespect you. If you really love yourself, you will not have tolerance for disrespect from anybody. People who learn how to love themselves are less likely to suffer from illnesses and is a powerful state of being that paves the way to a positive mindset which is an essential ingredient for leading a peaceful and successful life. It can be tricky to understand how important loving yourself is, however, is absolutely incredible to experience and truly feel the results of it and thus observe how beautifully will impact your life and everything in it.
You are the only one responsible for your happiness and it all depends on how you take care of yourself and how well you know who you really are. What you should never forget is that in you resides a lot of power that simply you are not aware of it yet, and by cultivating a self-love discipline you deliberately activate this power.
I want to encourage you to go and look in the mirror right now and say out loud to yourself:
"I LOVE YOU and I am here for you, always!"
Learn to love yourself so you can love the world just as is. Neten
